he's usually giving his sister a hug or patting her arm

when she grabs his toys or throws the puzzle pieces he is working on he doesn't shove or hit her he just covers his eyes

this morning he made a wish while blowing on an eyelash that he could ride a t-rex

"but first I will ask him but first I will find a nice t-rex and I will climb up his tail

he will take me to his nest because I want to hold his babies you and daddy can come but not mighty because she will hurt the babies"

Cookie Monster Cupcakes for Duke's Visit

So here is my attempt at making Cookie Monster Cupcakes. Seriously these looked so much better in my mind. Why do I think I don't need to read instructions? Why? Oh that's right because my mom and Aunt Kathy and pretty much all the ladies in my family are freaking kitchen Goddesses and I will never admit that the apple not only fell REALLY far from the tree but then it landed on someone's head and someone else shot it with an arrow.

"Sushi"

Clash and I played "Cooker," which is what Clash calls it when it's our turn to bring snack to school. Yesterday we made sandwich "sushi" rolls using almond butter (peanut-free school) and fresh strawberry slices (no sugar is allowed either). And the other roll was cream cheese and cucumber. Clash rolled out the bread to make them roll easier and then spent the rest of the morning using the rolling pin as a light saber. Chopsticks were courtesy of The Karate Kid swag. Thanks Sony!
